The client was from Oman and their main business area was clearing the shipments arriving by road, sea and air. The company is a medium sized freight forwarding agent too.
THE PROBLEM
Tracking the arrived Bill of Entries and their respective consignments were too complicated for the company as everything was done manually. Over and above, tracking down the receivables and payables, forced the company to have an automated ERP solution that will cater all their day to day activities with minimum effort.
OUR SOLUTION
ERPNext was the best solution for them as it had all the accounting features of payables and receivables. A few things , such as freight forwarding and logistics forms had to be build on top of the existing ERPNext solution. Few more forms and reports were developed using the FRAPPE FRAMEWORK.
